| Council Members and Officials Rev. Dr. Jason M. Dodson, Sr. President, Marion, Illinois President@counciloftwelve.org
Jason is a professional consultant, musician, Freemason, theologian, and conceptual artist/writer, born in Columbus, Ohio. Dodson founded his own non-profit organization in 2001 called The Parable Institute, and founded the online funk musician's community The New Funk Order in 2003. He is best known for this along with his musical works, writings, and sociopolitical advisory work. Jason is a former Chairman of the Carbondale Democracy For America group, an ordained Universalist minister, a Master Mason at the Saline Masonic Lodge #339, a member of the Phylaxis Society, a member of the Rosicrucian Fellowship, and a former member of the Marion, Illinois group Concerned Citizen's Council. Currently, Dodson resides in Southern Illinois where he was the leader of the Southern Illinois for Ron Paul 2008 US Presidential campaign, and has been the Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Illinois, Metro-Lakeland Chapter since October of 2008. Jason is a Doctor of Divinity and Theology from Quest Seminary.
Dr. Bill Jackson- Senior Fellow- The Eisenhower Policy Institute, C12 Board Member
Dr. Jackson is a decorated Veteran of the Vietnam War and a Hurricane Katrina survivor. He is a lifelong Conservative Republican, but is understanding of the needs of people in America. He has been a top advisor with The Eisenhower Policy Institute for 22 years. Dr. Jackson holds a Doctor of Economics from The Ohio State University, and was a founding member of Jackson, Lee, and Waters accounting firm in Toledo, Ohio. He is also a Freemason in his current home state of Texas.
Dr. Angela Wilson- Founder- The San Francisco Urban Coalition, C12 Board Member
Dr. Wilson is a very active member of her community on the South Side of San Francisco. She has led a number of events and raised community awareness on many issues and brought positive change to the San Francisco area. She served as an assistant to Mayor Willie Brown and later formed The San Francisco Urban Coalition. She holds a Doctor of Theology from Sara Scott Theological Seminary in Bakersfield, California. Jim Henderson- President- Concerned Citizens of Tampa, C12 Board Member
Jim is a C12 partner in Tampa, Florida, and is the President of the Tampa Council of Twelve and the President of Concerned Citizens of Tampa. He is a scholar of immigration studies and holds a Bachelors in History from Florida State University. Jim's tenure as a community organizer dates back to 1965 when he first founded a local Rotary chapter.
Renee Mitchell, Member, Marion, Illinois
Renee is a longtime resident of Marion, Illinois and an activist in her community. She has demonstrated a positive image of leadership in her community and served as Secretary of the Marion Concerned Citizens Council from 2003-2006. She has worked as a mentor for the Boyton Street Community Center in Marion and helped organize many events such as community barbecues and clean-up days.
Jamie Wolf, Member, Marion, Illinois
Jamie is a college student in Southern Illinois who is an outstanding scholar and academic. Her interest in social justice and economic equality is highly needed and appreciated in today's world, and her character and drive are unmatched among her peer group. She is currently an advisor to the C12.
